ABOUT US
South Bloomfield Highlands is a community of 209 homes in Bloomfield Township, Michigan. The South Bloomfield Highlands Improvement Association (SBHIA) is a non-profit organization owned and managed by the home owners in the neighborhood. For over 70 years, SBHIA has been entrusted with providing potable water to the homes in the subdivision through a system of two community well houses. Our operator in charge has the highest level of certification issued by Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). Routine water quality testing is done at least once a month and an extensive water quality report is issued once a year as required (see Water Quality Report).
Members pay a Quarterly Fee to cover their water usage and the system's infrastructure repairs. Currently Metro Group maintains Homeowner's Water Accounts (Dues). Their contact is 248-745-7100.
